Terms of Service

These terms govern the purchase of promotional placement on roundrobin.

What is being sold

roundrobin sells promotional placement on a public leaderboard of software products. A placement consists of your product name, a short description, an optional logo, and an outbound link to a URL you supply. Placement is advertising. Ranking is determined solely by payment and is not an editorial endorsement, review, or ranking of quality.

How ranking works

• Each listing has a cumulative total, being the sum of all settled payments made for it.
• Listings are ordered by that total, highest first. Where two listings have the same total, the one that reached it first ranks higher.
• Payments accumulate. Being outranked does not consume or forfeit money already paid; a further payment adds to your existing total.
• Positions are not exclusive, reserved, or guaranteed for any period. Another customer may pay more at any time and take your position.
• There is one listing per product URL. A payment against a URL already listed is added to that listing's total.

Delivery

Placement goes live as soon as payment is confirmed by our payment provider, and remains live indefinitely unless removed under these terms. No minimum traffic, click volume, impressions, or outcome of any kind is promised or implied.

Content standards

You must own or be authorised to promote the product you submit, and the content you supply must be accurate and lawful. We may remove any listing, without notice, that is unlawful, deceptive, malicious, infringing, sexually explicit, or that we reasonably believe to be a scam or to endanger visitors. Where a listing is removed for these reasons, payments made for it are not refunded.

Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal. We do not receive or store your card details. All amounts are in US dollars and are charged once, at the time of purchase. Refunds are governed by our refund policy.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with any listing is limited to the amount you paid for that listing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. Changes apply to purchases made after they are posted.
